‘Seeing science in everything’
For 6 1/2 years, Jeff Stanford has been the public voice of the Orlando Science Center. On any given day, he handles anything and everything from shepherding news-media inquiries, to translating science and engineering concepts into words that any person on the street can follow, to providing pop-culture ties to center exhibits. And occasionally, it’s Stanford’s voice going over the center’s public-address system, announcing the next astronomy show.
