Celebration marks 33 years for zoo, 232 for USA


The Central Florida Zoo is celebrating its 33rd birthday and Independence Day with a three-day festival beginning Friday. The Red, White and Zoo celebration will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the animal park on U.S. Highway 17-92 near I-4 Exit 104 in Sanford.
